Quincy Jordan

A week ago tomorrow, on December the 27th, a little angel joined our family.  Peter and Robyn were surprised by her early arrival.  She was a smidge over three months early so very, very tiny.(That is Robyn's hand beside Quincy) In the past week we have had ups and downs.  Everyone tells us that is to be expected.  One of the biggest struggles was with her oxygen levels.  She had a especially difficult afternoon where they had to bump her oxygen up much higher than it had been and that has brought about a few more challenges. Today the doctor met with Robyn and Connie (her Mom) to tell her that Quincy had a IVH(Intraventricular hemorrhage)or brain bleed. These are not uncommon in premature babies. They grade them on a 1-4 scale and Quincy has had one on each side of her still developing brain.  One side a 1-2 and the other a 3-4.  Right now she has a little clot that we need to resolve and she will have another scan this Thursday. The doctor doesn't know what the outcome will be but needed to inform them of all possibilities. We have all felt peaceful throughout the week and know that our Heavenly Father loves this little girl and is in control.   We are fasting tonight and tomorrow for this little fighter. We are hopeful and prayerful and know that miracles happen.
I will try to keep family up to date on her progress.  Thank you so much for your kindnesses and words of encouragement and especially your prayers.
